Your spiritual retreat begins with your arrival at Lepchakha, a peaceful village surrounded by the lush hills of Dooars. The journey from Siliguri to Lepchakha takes approximately 2 to 3 hours, covering around 40 km. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation and take some time to settle in. In the afternoon, head out to Rovers Point, a famous scenic spot known for its panoramic views of the Dooars region, the Bhutan Hills, and the mesmerizing forest-covered slopes. This quiet and serene viewpoint offers the perfect opportunity for introspection and connecting with nature. As the sun sets, enjoy the peaceful ambiance and prepare for a restful evening.

After a peaceful night in Lepchakha, wake up early and prepare for the trek to the Mahakal Caves, a revered spiritual site nestled deep in the hills. The trek begins in the morning and covers a distance of around 6 km, which will take about 2 to 3 hours, depending on your pace. As you trek through the verdant forest trails, feel the fresh mountain air and the serenity of the landscape. Upon reaching the Mahakal Caves, take time to explore the sacred site, known for its spiritual significance and peaceful surroundings. The caves offer an excellent environment for meditation, allowing you to reflect deeply on your spiritual journey. After spending several hours at the caves, return to Lepchakha, where you’ll relax and meditate in the evening, absorbing the peaceful energy of the surroundings.

On Day 3, your retreat takes you to the Buxa Forest, located about 30 km from Lepchakha. The drive takes around 1 to 2 hours, allowing you to witness the beauty of the dense forest as you enter the peaceful sanctuary. Buxa Forest is an ideal location for meditation, surrounded by towering trees, the soft sounds of wildlife, and the rustling of leaves in the breeze. Spend the day engaging in guided meditation sessions in the tranquil environment, allowing yourself to fully unwind and reconnect with your inner self. The quiet, spiritual atmosphere of the forest encourages mindfulness, offering a perfect opportunity for deep reflection. In the late afternoon, enjoy a calm walk through the forest, taking in the beauty of nature and feeling the deep sense of peace that the surroundings provide.

On the final day of your spiritual retreat, enjoy a serene morning in the Buxa Forest. After a peaceful breakfast, embark on your journey back to Siliguri, which is approximately 90 km away and takes around 3 to 4 hours by road. As you leave the tranquil forests and hills behind, reflect on the calming experiences of the past few days and the deep sense of rejuvenation that the retreat has provided. You’ll return to Siliguri feeling refreshed, peaceful, and spiritually uplifted, carrying the energy of Dooars with you as you conclude your journey.
