About Bindu
Bindu is the final Indian village on the Jaldhaka road, sitting at the confluence where the Bindu Khola and Jaldhaka meet below the Bhutan hills. A dam and small bridge mark the border, and cardamom terraces climb the slopes on both sides.
Days here are slow: tea on a terrace, a walk to the dam, and the constant sound of water in the gorge below.
Why visit
- Standing at the India–Bhutan border river crossing
- Cardamom plantations covering the hillsides
- Cool mountain air and dramatic gorge views
