About Nalraja Garh
Deep inside Chilapata forest stand the brick remains of Nalraja Garh, attributed to the Nal kings who ruled the region around the fifth century during the Gupta period.
Only fragments of wall survive under the roots, but reaching them on foot through the forest is one of the most atmospheric experiences in the Dooars.
