About South Khayerbari Nature Park
South Khayerbari began as a rehabilitation centre for tigers rescued from circuses and now houses leopards and other rescued animals in large enclosures within natural forest.
It is an easy, family-friendly half-day trip from Jaldapara or Alipurduar, and one of the few places where children can reliably see big cats while learning why they are here.
