About Rasikbil Bird Sanctuary
Rasikbil is a natural wetland near Tufanganj, fed by the Raidak, that draws large numbers of resident and migratory waterbirds each winter — cormorants, egrets, whistling ducks, storks and kingfishers.
The site also has a small deer park, crocodile enclosure, leopard rescue section and a toy-train style visitor circuit, making it a popular family day trip.
