About Cooch Behar Rajbari

Built in 1887 by Maharaja Nripendra Narayan, the Cooch Behar Rajbari was modelled on the classical Italian renaissance style, with a 124-foot central dome above the Durbar Hall.

Today it is a protected monument and museum, set in wide lawns in the middle of one of the best-planned small cities in eastern India.
