About Samsing
Samsing is a hill village at around 900 m where the Dooars plain gives way to the Himalaya. Tea gardens stack up the slopes, and cardamom and orange grow in the folds between them.
It is a base for Rocky Island, Suntalekhola and Faribasti, and one of the best places in the region to walk through a working tea estate with a view that reaches all the way to the plains.
