About Torsa River
The Torsa rises in Tibet as the Amo Chu, runs through Bhutan and enters India near Phuentsholing before braiding across the grasslands of Jaldapara.
Its shifting channels create the wet grassland that rhino depend on, and its banks are among the finest wildlife-watching spots in the Dooars.
