About Teesta River
The Teesta descends from Sikkim through a deep gorge and emerges onto the plains at Sevoke, where the Coronation Bridge arches across it. It forms the western boundary of the Dooars.
Rafting runs operate on the upper stretches, while the plains section spreads wide and calm behind the Gajoldoba barrage.
