About Chel River

The Chel comes down from the Kalimpong hills and runs past Odlabari and Damdim through a corridor of forest and tea garden before joining the Neora.

Its stony banks are a favourite for winter picnics, riverside camps and slow afternoons well away from the main tourist routes.
